life this week

ALRIGHT, SO MY PARENTS HAVE BEEN GONE. COMPLETELY M.I.A.
OK MAYBE NOT COMPLETELY, THEY ARE STILL IN CONTACT BUT ONLY AS LITTLE AS THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH.
BEEN A PRETTY GOOD WEEK, HANGING OUT WITH THE GRANDPARENTS. A LITTLE DIFFERENT BUT STILL ENJOYABLE.
WENT AND SAW DEAR JOHN WITH EMILY TONIGHT, I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THAT YOU ALL SEE IT. IT WAS REALLY GOOD. BOOK WAS BETTER BUT IM NOT JUDGING.
OH AND LAST WEEK CHOPPED 6 INCHES OF MY HAIR OFF, DONT KNOW IF I TOLD YALL YET OR NOT, SO MUCH EASIER TO WORK WITH.
OTHER THAN ALL OF THAT, ALL I HAVE REALLY BEEN DOING IS SCHOOL. OH YEAH, AND IM OFF RESTRICTION AND AM ALLOWED TO RETURN DO SINGING IN THE CHOIR. HOPING THAT IT WILL BE A GOOD EXPERIENCE. THINKING ABOUT AUDITIONING FOR AMERICAN IDOL NEXT SEASON BUT HAVEN'T MADE UP MY MIND YET.
HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH EVERYONE, IF ANYTHING EXCITING HAPPENS YOU'LL BE THE FIRST TO KNOW.

oh joys of family

Ok, so I love my family. But, Some of them need to start worrying about someone other than themselves.! Oh and expecting sympathy automatically. Hellooooo if you got off your ass and did something and tried to fix what was wrong with your life, instead of expecting someone else to do it for you, HEY! you might not be in such bad shape.
I'm sorry, I love you all but I am tired of hearing about your problems! I'll listen if you have an intent on trying to fix them, instead of just complaining to me about them. You can't expect everything to be handed to you on a silver platter, sometimes you have to jump in head first! quit sticking your toes in the water to see if its cold, Sink or swim, you'll figure it out! But you just can't expect people to do it for you! YOU need to do something about it!!!!

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while, things have been pretty busy. With school and everything going on it's just been crazy. Was grounded for a while, but i think that I am pretty much off restriction now. Really want my music back.
Things have been nuts!!!
Working on a term paper. Its for English, The subject is going to be on "The Causes And Effects Of The Breakdown Of The Home." It's definitely an interesting subject.

Things in my life have been changing as well as Me.
I've tried to have a new attitude about me and look at things from every angle before i make a decision. Not always the easiest, but definitely rewarding in the end. Next week, im gonna cut my hair and try to change my appearance, in changing my life and my attitude, it would be nice to see a change on the outside.

This Christmas has been amazing so far!!!! I Got a new dell laptop and this thing is AWESOME!!!! I will, hopefully, be reporting to here more often now that I know that some of you actually read it.lol
Hope all of you had as amazing Christmas as I have had. My family is the best thing that ever happened to me. Today is my Lord and Saviours birthday!! Happy Birthday Jesus!!!!! Mom and Dad and of course Santa, Thank you so much for all my gifts. I do not deserve them but you do it for me anyway and I am truly appreciative!!!

Ok so its been a lil bit since I posted something.
Alrighty so ive been sorta trying to lose a lil weight.
Ive lost ten pounds so far. Cut out all major sugars and snack foods.
drink more water and not much soda. Other than Mountain dew but really can't go without that. Tried it. Tried Diet. Just Can't Do It. I cut back...thats the most im doing!!! If I die tomorrow I wanna know that I drank the real thing the day before.!!!
School is going better. Im keeping it up.
Room Is FINISHED!!! Thank you Mama and Daddy! Its So Pretty!
Even if it is green and purple.
Working on some music at the church now.
A friend and I are trying to get a youth program going. Going well so far.!
Had "The CRUD", as grandpa calls it, most of the week but its going away, ive drank enough orange juice to float a battleship. im surprised that I haven't turned into an orange!
Other than that not much going on. Still school, music, crud, Dew, and finished room.
when something more interesting happens ill let you know.

Im glad that I have learned this at 17 and not in my 30's and 40's. I can tell you the exact time that I realized this It was spring break of 2009 and I had just gotten into a fight with some friends and there were major rumors going around and just a bunch of bullcrap happening.! I called my Papa and he told me that he was going to Georgia for my Uncle Kirks last Basketball game and asked me if I wanted to go.
At first I thought it was just going to be an easy way to get away from all the BULL here but I honestly think that it was God sending me on a trip pushing me towards an epiphany! When i got up there, I started talking to My aunt and uncle, my grandparents, and my cousins, even though they are little, wow them kids have their heads screwed on straight, cuz at that age, all they know really is their family. Im so blessed to have a family like i do. I used to take them for granted and for those of you that I did take for granted I TRULY APOLOGIZE!
When all my friends and I were in fights and all the mess was going on MY FAMILY WAS THERE! My Papa and My aunts told me that it was going to be ok and that I would get through it! where were my so-called friends then?!?
I still have friends but i will never invest that much of my trust or that much of my faith in them, not that I wont trust them or have faith in them, I just will never put as much in them as I once did, all it got me was heartbreak and a whole lot of headache.
The holcombs have always been referred to as a very close family and now I know why!!!
